In 2005, Banco República did not have the resources to manually test its growing IT systems. Therefore, they decided to expand the capacity that would allow them to address a greater number of systems to automate their functional tests, and to establish performance tests of critical systems. With the STB Testing project, they were able to minimize the risks associated with the start-up in the production environment, which could cause image problems for the Bank, among other risks.
