The Generative AI Revolution in Software Test Management: How GPT-4 and Other Models are Transforming Testing

Introduction

Generative artificial intelligence (Generative AI) is revolutionizing all activities related to text analysis, understanding, and generation, including software test management.

Large Language Models (LLMs), such as OpenAI´s GPT-4, Google´s Gemini, Facebook´s LLaMA, and Anthropic´s Claude, are publicly available and have been trained to perform specific tasks such as language translation, sentiment analysis, text generation, and question answering. How are we leading the Generative AI revolution in software testing?

At Software Testing Bureau, we have long been exploring how to harness the power of Generative AI models and apply them to everyday software testing tasks. We were recently one of the first 8 companies in the world to participate in the first GenAI-Assisted Test Engineer Certified GenAiA-Assisted Test Engineer (GenAiA-TE) training course, organized and led by one of the leaders in the application of AI to testing, Tariq King.

We will soon launch the Spanish version of this course to prepare all test analysts in Latin America to take advantage of LLM in their daily tasks.
